HOSA

WHO WE ARE

Health Occupations Students of America
HOSA is a nationwide organization that is designed for secondary and post-secondary students of Health Science. The chapter at Simi Valley High School is comprised of our Medical Health Careers (MHC) Pathway students who benefit by increased test scores through their participation in the club. Our curriculum includes HOSA to educate students in the job skills and cooperative learning skills needed in the field of Health Care. Meetings take place every Wednesday during a zero period CTE health elective that incorporates HOSA into its curriculum. Mrs. Alisa Speidel and Mrs.Tammy Harter are advisers for HOSA and head our MHC Pathway program.
