Nominees for the 2017-2018 Executive Board - Three Positions Still Open

The nominating committee of the Simi Valley High School PTSA has recommended the following

slate of officers for the 2017-2018 school year:

 

President – Vicki Johnson

1st VP of Programs – Open

2nd VP of Membership – Becky Wright

3rd VP of Ways & Means – Alisa Hensel

Secretary – Vivian Hathaway

Treasurer – open

Auditor – Jonie Anderson

Historian – open

 

The PTSA still has three positions open on the 2017-2018 Executive Board:

  • 1st VP- Program- The main person in charge of the programs run by the school.  Honorary Service Awards, assemblies, etc.
  • Treasurer – Keeps the financial records, writes the checks, and keeps the treasury reports, association and board records.  Sets up the budget for the next year with the budget committee.
  • Historian- Keeps track of all volunteer hours and is responsible for updating the district bulletin board at the district office.  Completes the year end historian report

The Simi Valley High School PTSA is an important, active, involved part of our school operation. Meeting dates are published in our school newsletter and are noted on the school calendar. All SVHS parents and community members are welcome to attend association meetings. Students are also encouraged to join, and Seniors wishing to be eligible for the PTSA Scholarship must be members during their Junior and Senior years.
