The Renaissance Program

Helping Others Pursue Excellence!

 The Simi Valley High School Renaissance program serves to promote school spirit and pride by recognizing and rewarding academic excellence, achievement, and improvement. In addition, Renaissance is dedicated to recognizing and rewarding the achievements and contributions of staff. Renaissance is a year-long course that qualifies as a practical art.

RenaissanceEvery class member is an influencer of others -- a LEADER! Renaissance students LEAD BY EXAMPLE!

Renaissance instructor/advisor Ms. Dillon evaluates her students in the following areas:

Although Renaissance projects usually take place during the regular school day, there are some aactivities and programs that require additional time. These include rally preparation (late night before, early morning the day of the rally), fundraising, (Fifth Quarter Bowling, car washes, Celebrity Basketball Game, etc.), Band Spectacular, Academic Letter Night, Graduation, and any other special activities and celebrations (breakfasts, luncheons, etc.)!
